五、风景名胜,景点
Museum at Sønderborg Castle
Address: Sønderborg Castle, Sønderbro 1
The castle was originally a castle, built around 1170 due to its strategic position to defend the country. In the 1300s and 1400s, Søndreborg gradually expanded and changed under both Danish and Schleswig dominions. In the shelter of the protection of the castle a city grew up, which later came to be called Sønderborg. The strong castle was built from 1532 to 1549 as a prison for Danish King Christian 2. In 1550 King Christian 3 and Queen Dorothea began the rebuilding of the castle in the Renaissance style with its associated castle church, which was one of the first Protestant chapels in North. The castle was subsequently taken over by Duke Hans the Younger in 1571, but eventually ended up under the Danish crown after the duchy went bankrupt. Having been simplified into a baroque castle, the castle served during various wars as barracks, infantry barracks and dungeon. At the Reunion in 1920 the castle was sold to the Danish state.
Today, the castle houses a museum of Southern Jutland history with various exhibitions from the Middle Ages and upwards. During a visit to the historical museum, you move directly into the various eras and experience the dungeon, the knight's hall and the castle church. The permanent exhibitions depict significant events such as the 1864 War, World War I and the 1920 Reunion.
Deep Wave Mill
Address: Deep Wave Banke 7, 6400 Sønderborg
After 40 years, advice had arisen in the wing tips and the mill hat itself and the masonry also needed a loving hand. The repairs have cost about 3.5 million and Denmark's national symbol is now ready for the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Reunion in 1920.
Dybbøl Mill is of the gallery-Dutch type and has been a museum since 1995. In the grain magazine there are memorials with drawings, photos, uniforms and weapons from the wars of 1848-50 and 1864. In the mill itself there is a fine exhibition on the history of the mill as well as on the war graves throughout North Schleswig.
In connection with the 100th anniversary of the Reunion, the new exhibition "Dybbøl Mill 1864-2020" will be opened on April 18, 2020.
六、历史文化
Prior to the Second Schleswig War of 1864, Sønderborg was situated in the Duchy of Schleswig, a Danish fief, so its history is properly included in the contentious history of Schleswig-Holstein. In the 1920 Schleswig Plebiscite that returned Northern Schleswig to Denmark, 43.8% of the city of Sønderborg's inhabitants voted for the cession to Denmark and 56.2% voted for remaining part of Germany.
The municipality of Sønderborg arose on January 1, 2007 as the result of a merger of the four former Asian municipalities; Augustenborg, Nordborg, Sydals and Sønderborg and by the three former Jutland municipalities Broager, Gråsten and Sundeved.
As in the time of the duchy
The old duchy in Sonderborg largely covered the area covered by the new municipality. And both at the formation of the duchy and the new municipality, history repeated itself in the way that the gray stone was not included from the beginning, neither in its time when the duchy was formed, nor by the structural reform, where it was only in the final phase that the gray stone decided to become part of the new municipality.
Seven signatures
The agreement to form the new municipality was signed at Sønderborg Castle on the morning of December 23, 2005, when the mayors of the seven municipalities signed the Sønderborg document. In fact, the mayors signed two similar documents, one for the Ministry of the Interior and one for the Museum at Sønderborg Castle, where it is stored in the archive as testimony to a historical event.
Especially southern German
The legislation states that the municipality of Sønderborg has a special obligation to the German minority, and therefore the number of city council members must be 31. The same rule applies to the three other southern Jutland municipalities.
Sønderborg castle is in the centre of the town, and houses a museum focusing on the history and culture of the area. The museum is open all year. Sandbjerg Estate, which had belonged for many years to the Dukes of Sønderborg, and then to the Reventlow family, was donated to Aarhus University in 1954. In addition Sønderborg has a castle-like barracks built by the German military in 1906, placed centrally by Als Fjord, opposite Alsion (see picture below).
The special location as a natural hub in the border country has given us a very special ability to cooperate across borders, cultures and divisions, and today 120 different nationalities live in Sønderborg.
On the one hand, Sønderborg has all the characteristics of the big city: Some of Denmark's largest global industrial groups are located here. The university's campus is the country's most international with students from over 50 countries, and the talk in all kinds of languages is buzzing in the city's many restaurants and cafes. It is also in Sonderborg that you find just as many cultural experiences and events as there are days in the year.
