Roskilde Fjord is one of Denmark's most important natural areas. The fjord is a breeding and resting place for a wide range of species of waterfowl, several of which are few breeding birds in Denmark. The fjord is for the same reason game reserve and is also designated as Natura 2000 area.
The bird counts summarized in this report are a continuation of a work that has been going on for decades and has involved many different actors.
Transport
The overall bus network is complemented by a bus network where the lines cover wider, but in turn have lower frequency and longer travel time.
The R-lines 310R and 230R, together with the lines 600S and 320R, form the mainstay of the public transport service in the municipality, as they tie the traffic nodes in Skibby, Jægerspris and Slangerup with Frederikssund Station. In addition, they connect to the train stations in Roskilde, Hillerød, Ølstykke and Farum.
三、经济发展和规模
The recent development of the town center and the old commercial harbour have given Frederikssund a new look which reflects its growing popularity as a residential area with connections to Copenhagen and surroundings. It has all the facilities associated with a modern Danish town: museums, a public library, supermarkets, a hospital and sports and recreation centers. With a location facing west over the Roskilde Fjord, it has many footpaths along the shores and up into the higher ground to the east. The local rail and bus services are well developed.
The new harbour square provides the finishing touches to the harbour developments which began in the 1990s. There are also ambitious plans to build a new residential development to the south of Frederikssund near Store Rørbæk.

FUEL project
The FUEL project aims to ensure that more young people choose and, not least, complete a vocational education. The project is a collaboration between the business schools, Frederikssund Erhverv and Frederikssund Municipality, and the project has received project funding from the EU Social Fund and Regional Business Development Funds.
FUEL stands for Before, During and After Learning Environments and is a 3-year project. FUEL is implemented by the six partners: Frederikssund Municipality, Frederikssund Business and the four business schools: TEC, SOSU H, Esnord and Knord.
The project focuses, among other things, on internship guarantee and binding cooperation between primary school, vocational education and companies. Specifically, FUEL initiates a number of activities that together support the students 'choice and learning processes that take place in the three phases of students' lives: before choosing education, during education and after completing the basic process. And not least in the transitions occasionally. The learning takes place both for the students who participate in the project - and who want to choose and complete a vocational education to a greater extent than before. But also for the partners involved, who, during the three years of the project, will share knowledge and build learning about common solutions that can be disseminated to other municipalities.
Frederikssund Municipality has also entered into partnership agreements with the two major business organizations, Dansk Byggeri and Dansk Industri, as well as the business schools. The agreements are intended to strengthen cooperation between the municipality, education and the business community for the benefit of both those who are undergoing education and business.
Vocational education and training are gathered at Campus Frederikssund, where there is an attractive and strong educational environment. Campus Frederikssund is a collaboration between a number of educational institutions, which together ensure a wide educational offer to Frederikssund and its surroundings. In August 2017, Campus Frederikssund was expanded with a number of new vocational programs, and in 2018 HTX will also be added.

Selsø Castle
Address: Selsøvej 30 A, 4050 Skibby
Selsø is a historic manor house located near Skibby 14 km (8.7 mi) south of Frederikssund on the Danish island of Zealand. The estate was first mentioned in 1288. The manor originated in 1576 and was renovated in the Baroque style in 1734. The recently restored building is now a museum.
Selsø was built in the 1570s by the nobleman Jakob Ulfeldt, who was one of the most powerful men in the kingdom and a member of the Council of State. Ulfeldt also built the manor houses Bavelse and Ulfeldtsholm (today Holckenhavn).
Selsø was originally located on a islet in a lake with a river connection to Roskilde Fjord, and here before the current building was a smaller medieval bourgeoisie (presumably from the end of the 13th century, where the farm belonged to Roskilde diocese), from which the large stone well on the courtyard stems.
The Ulfeldt family sold Selsø in 1624 and, after changing owners, the estate was purchased by the enterprising noblewoman Berte Skeel in 1682. Much indicates that she has stayed part of Selsø when she was not in her mansion at Kongens Nytorv in Copenhagen. When she died without leaving heirs, her nephews and nieces took over her wealthy estate, and so Selsø ended up in her niece Charlotte Amalie Skeel and her husband, Christian Ludvig von Plessen's ownership in 1721.
Christian Ludvig von Plessen remodeled Selsø to its current Baroque form. Only the outer walls and the vaults of the basement remain from Uldfeldt's Renaissance house. The interiors were decorated according to all the rules of art with painted and marbled panels, painted floors and paintings by Hendrick Krock, the favored artist of the time, who has also decorated at Rosenborg, Fredensborg and Frederiksberg Castle.
In 1972, the married couple Bernhard Linder and Grethe Gunnar Nielsen leased the dilapidated main building and began to restore it gently with the help of volunteers and in collaboration with, among other things. National Museum Conservation Department. The following year, Selsø opened as a museum, and in 1995 the house was transferred to the Plessenske Selsø Foundation, whereby the museum became a self-governing institution, run by funds from ticket revenue and grants from the Municipality of Frederikssund
Jægerspris Castle
Address: Slotsgården 20, 3630 Jægerspris
Jægerspris Castle, in Jægerspris on the Hornsherred peninsula west of Copenhagen, is a Danish manor house. It has belonged to the Danish monarchs for most of its history which dates back to the 13th century. In the 1850s it became a retreat for King Frederik VII and his morganatic wife Countess Danner, who sought refuge there to escape the controversy their marriage had caused among the establishment in Copenhagen. After the king's death, Countess Danner turned it into an asylum for women.
Today the castle serves as a historic house museum and is also noted for its park.

六、历史文化
Frederikssund Kommune is a municipality on the shores of Roskilde Fjord in the northern part of the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in eastern Denmark. On 1 January 2007, the municipality was enlarged to include the old Jægerspris, Slangerup, and Skibby municipalities. As of 1 January 2014 its mayor is John Schmidt Andersen, a member of the agrarian liberal Venstre political party. Frederikssund municipality belongs to Region Hovedstaden (Capital Region).
There is evidence of communities dating right back to the stone age with a number of burial sites in the area. It seems probable that there was a small settlement at the present location of Frederikssund in the Middle Ages but the development of the town probably began in the 12th century with the construction of a church at what was then known as Ude Sundby or Sundby Færge (Sundby Ferry). Located at a narrow point on Roskilde Fjord, Sundby Færge became the harbour for the nearby market town of Slangerup.
In 1809-10, the status of market town was transferred from Slangerup to Frederikssund, named after King Frederik III. In 1868, a pontoon bridge linking Frederikssund to Hornsherred was opened. This was replaced by today's Kronprins Frederik Bridge in 1935.
Frederikssund's rapid expansion from a small town at the end of the 19th century is due in large part to the railway connection with Ballerup in 1879 which was upgraded to a frequent suburban service to Copenhagen in 1989.
